About the Role:  

 

The Pool & In-Villa Dining Senior Assistant Manager is responsible for the daily oversight, leadership, and operational excellence of the resort’s pool and in-villa dining departments. This role ensures that all guest experiences within these areas reflect the highest luxury service standards. The Pool & In Villa Dining Senior Assistant Manager provides hands-on supervision, drives team performance, maintains facility and equipment readiness, and upholds all safety, financial, and service protocol. 

 

What You Will Do? 

 

POOL OPERATIONS – PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Train, supervise, schedule, and discipline pool staff to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold service standards. 

  • Ensure employees maintain a welcoming, attentive, and unobtrusive presence with guests throughout their pool experience, including greeting, seating, and responding to service needs. 

  • Ensure all pool team members consistently execute proper service techniques. 

  • Anticipate and manage all pool-related materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage. 

  • Oversee the daily condition of pool facilities, furniture, restrooms, and equipment; recommend maintenance needs and improvements. 

  • Monitor pool safety, ensuring a secure environment for employees and guests. 

  • Process and document pool walk-outs according to property procedures. 

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all pool areas, restrooms, and guest-facing spaces at all times. 

  • Participate in all inventories related to pool operations. 

 

INVILLA DINING (IVD) – PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Train, supervise, schedule, and discipline IVD staff to ensure seamless invilla service and adherence to luxury service standards. 

  • Ensure staff demonstrate accurate and consistent IVD service techniques, including tray setup, delivery, invilla etiquette, order accuracy, and departure procedures. 

  • Anticipate and coordinate all IVD-related supplies, equipment, and stocking needs. 

  • Observe and evaluate the condition of IVD equipment, service tools, and delivery vehicles/carts, recommending updates or repairs. 

  • Support inventory processes specific to IVD operations. 

  • Maintain clear communication channels between IVD staff, culinary teams, guest services, and management. 

SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES (POOLS + IVD) 

  • Understand all food & beverage items offered within both departments, including ingredients, preparation methods, and service standards. 

  • Prepare staff schedules to balance guest service demands, labor costs, and overtime controls. 

  • Prepare daily and weekly payroll for pool and IVD teams. 

  • Complete all required paperwork related to revenues, labor, incidents, and operational reporting for both departments. 

  • Handle financial responsibilities including bank float management and accurate check processing using the property’s POS system. 

  • Ensure effective communication through daily logs, shift notes, and reporting to management. 

  • Conduct or assist with performance evaluations for all pool and IVD employees. 

  • Promote teamwork, maintain a positive work environment, and support staff development. 

  • Uphold excellent guest relations, resolving concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. 

  • Recognize and appropriately address intoxicated, disruptive, or unsafe guest behavior. 

  • Complete accident/incident reports accurately and promptly. 

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or safety situations according to Residence Club protocol. 

  • Attend required meetings, trainings, and briefings. 

  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by Residence Club leadership. 

 

What You Bring: 

  • Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.  

  • A college degree is preferred, ideally in hotel, hospitality, or restaurant management.  

  • 2 years of supervisory or management experience in room service, restaurant, or pools.  

  • Strong knowledge of:  

    • Luxury service standards  

    • F&B cost control  

    • Labor management  

    • Team leadership  

    • Maintenance awareness  

    • Merchandising and presentation standards
