Onsite – Baguio City, PHThe Supply Chain Lead is responsible for leading procurement and supply chain execution activities to ensure uninterrupted material flow, operational excellence, and achievement of customer and business commitments. The role provides leadership to procurement professionals, drives supply chain performance, ensures system and process integrity, supports new product introduction and program transitions, and develops organizational capability through coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position serves as a strategic liaison across Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain teams to optimize supplier performance, mitigate risks, improve delivery outcomes, and enable scalable business growth. The Supply Chain Lead champions Lean Management System (LMS) principles, data-driven decision-making, and talent development while acting as a key escalation point for critical supply chain issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Buyers and Supply Chain professionals to achieve operational, customer, and business objectives.
- Drive performance management processes including goal setting, coaching, capability development, performance reviews, succession planning, and recognition programs.
- Facilitate Individual Development Plans (IDPs), certification programs, leadership development initiatives, and career progression aligned with the organizational Career Architecture.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, employee engagement, and continuous learning.
2. Supply Chain Operations Governance
- Ensure the integrity and effectiveness of supply chain operating systems, planning parameters, and master data.
- Regularly audit and optimize procurement and planning settings including lead times, safety stock levels, supplier scheduling agreements, and replenishment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, business processes, and supply chain governance standards.
3. Supply Planning & Material Availability
- Ensure Lines of Balance (LOBs) and supply-demand plans are aligned with Program Managers and Planners.
- Drive actions to maintain material availability, support production schedules, and achieve customer delivery commitments.
- Lead escalation management for capacity constraints, shortages, and supply interruptions.
4. Supply Chain Performance Management
- Develop, analyze, and communicate key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Drive regular reviews with Regional Management focused on supplier performance, delivery execution, inventory management, and customer service.
- Prepare executive-level reporting for site leadership, global supply chain organizations, and external customers.
5. Logistics & Delivery Excellence
- Partner with Site and Global Logistics teams to manage transportation challenges, customs issues, and logistics disruptions.
- Lead cross-functional recovery plans to minimize delivery impacts and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to improve supply chain resilience and responsiveness.
6. Supplier Portfolio & Resource Optimization
- Monitor team workload, supplier allocation, and part portfolio complexity to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with Strategic Management teams to optimize supplier base strategies and support supplier rationalization initiatives.
- Balance organizational capacity against business growth requirements and changing demand profiles.
7. Strategic Leadership & Business Continuity
- Serve as delegate for the Supply Chain Manager when required, representing the function in site, regional, and global business reviews, governance forums, and strategic initiatives.
- Support business continuity planning and supply chain risk management efforts.
- Provide leadership during operational escalations, high-priority customer issues, and supply disruptions.
8. Lean Management & Continuous Improvement
- Champion Lean Management System (LMS) principles across the Supply Chain organization.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and process effectiveness.
- Drive achievement of operational excellence targets through structured problem-solving, process standardization, and employee engagement.
- Ensure development objectives align with Behavioral Competency expectations and leadership standards.

Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, Planning, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing supply chain professionals, buyers, planners, or cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders within complex, global organizations.
Technical and Functional Expertise. Strong knowledge and experience in:
- Procurement and Strategic Sourcing
- Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management
- Logistics and Global Transportation
- ERP/MRP Systems and Supply Chain Master Data Management
- Demand and Supply Planning Processes

Additional qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, LN, or equivalent enterprise systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualization/reporting tools.
