Detailer

A Detailer is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and restoring the appearance of vehicles or equipment, both inside and out. This role ensures a high-quality finish by using specialized tools, products, and techniques to maintain or enhance the condition of surfaces.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors, including washing, waxing, polishing, and vacuuming
• Remove dirt, stains, and imperfections from surfaces
• Apply protective coatings such as wax, sealants, or ceramic coatings
• Clean upholstery, carpets, windows, wheels, and engine compartments
• Inspect vehicles for defects or damage and report findings
• Maintain detailing tools, equipment, and work area in clean and working condition
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards

 

Skills & Qualifications:

 

• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work with hands and use detailing tools/equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques (preferred)
• Physical stamina (standing, bending, lifting)
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic and reliability

 

Education & Experience:

 

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous detailing or cleaning experience (an asset but not always required)
