About the Role
10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are looking for experienced accountants based in the EU or UK to help enhance the depth, accuracy, and practicality of AI-powered financial and accounting systems.
What You Will Do
Review and refine AI-generated outputs covering accounting topics such as financial reporting, tax, audits, compliance, and bookkeeping
Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, realism, and adherence to accounting standards
Draft realistic accounting scenarios and case studies drawn from your experience
Identify omissions, inaccuracies, or flaws in AI-generated financial content
Create alternative perspectives from roles such as auditor, financial controller, tax advisor, or business owner
In simple terms:
You will assess and improve AI-generated accounting content to ensure it demonstrates real best practices and a nuanced understanding of professional accounting. Rather than delivering traditional accounting services, you’ll apply your expertise to help AI systems truly understand accounting complexities in real use cases.
Who You Are
A qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), financial controller, or accounting advisor with significant hands-on experience
Based in and eligible to work in the EU or UK
Several years of hands-on experience in areas such as financial reporting, tax compliance, audit, or business accounting
Strong ability to spot mistakes, unrealistic scenarios, or flawed logic in accounting and finance content
Comfortable working independently and providing clear, actionable feedback
Available for 8–20 hours per week, with near-term start
