What you will do:
As a Senior Outside Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our business and
fostering long-term partnerships. You'll inherit an existing portfolio of clients, become a
valuable member of our exceptional sales team, and cater to a highly lucrative group of clients with recurring sales.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
Execute the evolving business model as directed by leadership.
Drive sales growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities.
Develop and execute strategic plans to exceed quotas and revenue targets.
Introduce and promote both new and established products and services within your territory.
Continuously prospect and expand the customer base within the assigned region.
Client & Vendor Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, resellers, and integrators.
Partner with regional vendors to maximize business opportunities and strengthen strategic alliances.
Develop deep relationships with clients through regular travel and face-to-face meetings.
Work closely with partners to identify and implement technology solutions that fit their needs.
Business Development & Brand Awareness
Represent JB&A at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness.
Identify emerging technologies and recommend new vendors for JB&A to consider for distribution.
Proactively seek opportunities to expand JB&A’s market presence.
Process, Structure & Organization
Build structured agendas to enhance productivity and focus.
Maintain and update sales databases and CRM records accurately.
Complete assigned projects within the territory monthly.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and sales initiatives.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly driven, results-oriented sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and sales, with a strong desire to drive business growth. They excel in communication and relationship-building, establishing and maintaining valuable partnerships. As a self-starter, they can work independently while staying aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Additionally, they bring experience in sales and account management, preferably within technology distribution, Pro AV, or a related industry.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven track record in outside sales, business development, or account management.
Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
In-depth knowledge of the video or pro-AV industries
Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel within the designated territory to meet with clients and vendors.
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
