Responsibilities Leads and Project Specialist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tMgKm_71qs (by clicking this link you are being referred to an external site that is not part of Panasonic) What You'll Get To Do: The position of Project and Lead Specialist will assist the technical team and support the regional and national sales teams. Consumer leads from the Panasonic website (B to C) will be answered directly by the specialist while Business leads (B to B) will be passed to the appropriate team member for follow-up. The second significant area of focus is identification of large scale IAQ project opportunities. The Specialist will be responsible for researching, identifying, and qualifying large scale project opportunities. This includes creating visibility for the regional sales teams, working with them to secure favorable specifications to drive sales, communicating with planning and forecasting, and tracking and following up on these large-scale project opportunities. This position will be integral in growing both the retail and wholesale businesses via leads and projects. Project Sales Specification and Lead Accountabilities: Identify large scale opportunities, mixed use/multi-family high density housing, hospitality, student housing, master planned communities, etc. through project platforms including Spec Live and CMD. Identify spot ventilation opportunities to convert from competition. Identify and qualify prospects, key decision makers, specifiers, installers, builders, etc. Capture construction project leads and maintain them in a central repository to sort and qualify. Work closely with Marketing on leads from trade shows and customer events, including qualification for lead conversion to pipeline opportunity and handing off to Sales. Disseminate qualified projects and or leads to PESNA IAQ direct sales team. Working the leads that are generated via the Website and input into Salesforce Consumer leads both retail and wholesale (single transaction) will be answered directly. This could be related to purchasing, installation, troubleshooting, etc. Builder, Contractor, Distributor and Specifier leads (multi transactional) will be sent to their respective region. Work with Consumer channel team to help with customer inquiries including but not limited to Pattern (Amazon), Bizarre Voice (Home Depot & Lowe’s), and Ferguson Home. Administrator for various Builder functions: Set up and attend customer engagement events such as ProConnect, Naylor, TecHome, and Build 50. Attend meetings at events and follow up with customer e-mails to customers and calls to action for the regional teams. Monitor builder e-mail submissions and submit quarterly invoices for National Builder Rebate Incentive programs. Work to provide builders with current incentive program. Business Management Accountabilities: Research current specifications for next-gen product launches to help facilitate spec updates. Create and participate in presentations, demonstrations and final project plans. Understand technical, operational, and management related issues of customers and staff. Participate in reviews and travel as needed to support projects Scope: Increase topline sales growth and market share through specification and conversion of large-scale projects across entire product line with the regional and national Sales teams. Project and Leads Specialist reports to the Senior Manager Sales & Training. Responsible for researching, qualifying, disseminating, specifying, active tracking and management of large-scale projects to PESNA IAQ field sales teams. Drives awareness of business opportunities with Sales team members and follow-up on customer issues. Supports multiple projects cross-functionally including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Business Customer Service, etc. Qualifications What You'll Bring: Education & Experience: 5+ years’ experience with Indoor Air Quality products preferred. 5+ years of Customer Support for both wholesale and retail-based products and channels preferred. Understanding of Building Codes and future trends as they pertain to residential and light commercial ventilation. Proficient use of technology and MS Office platform with ability to acquire new skills with corporate business systems. Able to utilize CRM program for lead generation and disbursement. Competencies: Capable of solving complex project planning and management challenges with minimal assistance, as well as working with other functional staff to manage through challenges. Focus on and promptly manage through any critical project issues. Ability to manage multiple projects relative to a potentially complex contract and schedule. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to provide clear and detailed technical reports and presentations. Self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines. Articulate company vision and be able to relate that position to prospective customers. Communications: Communicate effectively with other PESNA IAQ team members, executive management, key customers, executive and project management staff for our customers and partners. Communicate professionally in written responses to e-mails in a timely manner. Articulate product features in concise, simple to understand language at all levels, from contractor and distributor, to specifying engineer, and architect. Ability to educate best practices to installation contractors and end users in a way that encourages the use of the company’s products. Other Requirements: Desire Project Management Certification or other accreditation or affiliations within the industry. Contractor’s license or other certifications a plus, e.g., BPI, etc. Job related travel up to 20%. Ability to carry sample products and merchandizing displays into and out of customer locations, carry and deliver for shipment and load/unload from car/van. Ability to load, unload, setup custom displays for trade shows etc. Typically able to carry up to 70 pounds. · Navigate construction sites unaided and be able to demonstrate product installation when necessary.
