Position Description
The Customer Relations Intern is responsible for handling customer purchase orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery through meticulous preparation of shipping documents and customs clearance activities. Additionally, they maintain constant communication and alignment with both internal and external stakeholders to understand market-specific needs and tailor services accordingly. The role also involves maintaining accurate tracking logs and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to answer questions, provide information and service, and resolve issues.
- Research, prioritize and resolve customer issues in timely and accurate manner.
- Investigate and resolve timeously customer disputes and consequently coordinate with internal departments to find solutions and preventive actions.
- Receive and review customer purchase orders and ensure compliance in coordination with the customer.
- Process and enter purchase orders in ERP system.
- Create returns (ARR & PCF) in our SAP system and arranging returns with the system of the carriers and following up ensuring the products arrive back.
- Handle both internal and external communications via email and phone.
- Ensure that all incoming phone calls and emails are answered in a timely manner.
- Assign customer requests to adequate departments and teams.
- Trigger picking and packing activities with the warehouse team.
- Coordinate and arrange local deliveries, including preparing the needed documents.
- Track product movements and maintain accurate tracking and shipping logs.
- Attend to customers' inquiries regarding shipment status.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards, ensuring that all deliveries meet applicable regulations and customer expectations.
- Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Turkish and English languages
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to plan and organize work effectively
- Highly detail-oriented
- Proficiency in preparing detailed reports, documenting project progress, and communicating findings effectively
- Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
