Digital Press Operator

We are actively recruiting for the position of HP 7900 Indigo Digital Press Operator for our plant in Brooklyn, OH

2nd shift Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm

 Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow machine set-up and shut down procedures properly.
• Start machinery and make adjustments when necessary to improve performance.
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance as needed.
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
• Make real-time machine adjustments based on the job being processed.
• Maintain par inventory levels inks, paper stock, and other consumables.
• Communicate with imposition to resolve file issues, rip errors and etc.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and free of any safety hazards.
• Place finished jobs in correct staging areas.
• Update job status as it goes thru the processes until finished.
• Perform other duties as assigned, maintenance, ink rebuilds, PIP foil changes, blanket changes etc.

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to excellence and high-quality standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Must be computer savvy (knowledge of file transfers, looks up items, and familiarity with with Adobe Acrobat) and have a willingness to learn in-house programs and systems.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Acute attention to detail.
