The Opportunity |Te kōwhiringa
As a Cyclic Lead for one of the largest infrastructure business’ in New Zealand, you will lead and manage a cyclic crew as well as supporting other operations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality roading network. You will also:
- Patrol designated roads on a regular basis
- Identify and repair faults, such as potholes, edge marker post replacement and blocked drainage structures
- Risk assess and setup safe sites for your crew and the general public
- Provide training and development for staff
- Ensure efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
- Work as part of a cohesive team to deliver road maintenance activities

Along with a positive attitude and a commitment to safe workplace practices, we are looking for you to have:
- Full Class 2 New Zealand Drivers Licence required
- Experience leading and supervising crews
- A can-do attitude with a good work ethic
- Demonstrated that you are reliable and dependable
- Be able to identify and repair faults
- Show good initiative and be confident in decision-making and problem-solving
- Ability to perform on-call duties as part of our emergency response requirements
- Ability to record completed activities on an electronic device (RAMM / AWM)
