Job Description

Are you an experienced data professional with a comprehensive understanding of data models, ready to take on a more strategic role at Saxo Bank?

About the Job

We're looking for a dynamic Data Quality Analyst to join our team, supporting J8 and the Head of Client Data Governance in advancing our client data initiatives. As part of the Journey Structure, you will not only act as the Capability Owner within your domain but also elevate the impact of our client data strategies.

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will support the Head of Client Data Governance in driving and owning initiatives relevant to client data. This means ensuring that operating procedures and data controls are implemented and working as intended, and that control descriptions and the supporting governance and processes are established and properly anchored. You will independently coordinate, collaborate, and drive data quality improvements and controls, in collaboration with the team members and relevant stakeholders throughout the business.

The responsibility of the Client Data Governance department is to ensure that the quality of our client data is good, and that we have proper governance processes installed with relevant teams to ensure that identified bad data quality gets fixed. You will help ensure that.

Responsibilities

  • Spearheading and orchestrating data quality improvement initiatives with greater autonomy and strategic insight.
  • Identifying and implementing robust data quality rules, conducting risk assessments, and establishing definitive target thresholds to optimize data fidelity.
  • Designing and enforcing governance processes comprehensively to sustain high data quality throughout the client's lifecycle.
  • Developing strategic approaches for resolving data quality and consistency issues, aiming to surpass established targets.
  • Enhancing monitoring and tracking systems to evaluate data fidelity, implementing advanced metrics, and ensuring adherence to data governance policies.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate combines strong IT expertise, solid business acumen, and proven stakeholder management skills. You will be able to extract and analyse complex data sets using SQL, CRM system, Databricks and BI tools in general. Based on your findings, you will propose and implement strategic solutions that address data issues while aligning with broader business objectives.

You excel at collaboration and communication across departments and business units, fostering cross-functional integration to resolve data challenges effectively. In addition, you will lead initiatives to ensure that the organization’s data foundation is clear, compliant, and easily consumable, thereby strengthening the bank’s ability to make data-driven decisions.

You bring advanced skills in SQL, Databricks, Power BI, and Excel for data analysis. Strong project management capabilities are essential to drive complex data quality projects to completion.

With an elevated understanding of the critical role data plays in achieving business objectives, you will actively engage in facilitation and conflict resolution, ensuring unified efforts across teams and the organization during key initiatives.
