Role
As a Strategy Director at OMD, the primary objective is to lead the creation and execution of innovative, data-driven strategies that deliver exceptional value and drive business growth for clients. This role shapes the strategic direction of campaigns by leveraging a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and collaboration among cross-functional teams. Building strong, pro-active relationships with clients is essential, ensuring strategic recommendations align with their business objectives.
The Strategy Director oversees the strategic planning process, incorporating market research and consumer insights to inform actionable strategies. They also spearhead innovative media solutions that redefine consumer engagement and mentor a team of Strategy Consultants to enhance their development. By promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across Omnicom labels, the Strategy Director ensures that strategies remain agile and responsive to client needs and market changes. Ultimately, this role drives impactful strategies that foster client success and reinforces OMD's position as a forward-thinking leader in the media landscape and to create what’s next.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or HBO equivalent level of thinking and working).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in media consulting, marketing, or a related field.
- Professional knowledge of various insight tools and the abillity to draw conclusions from different data sources.
- Result oriented, cooperative and the ability to present their strategy in a persuasive manner.
- Supervises less experienced colleagues and mentor them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English or Dutch.
- A proactive and curious mindset, driven by a passion for the industry and a commitment to continuous learning.
