Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Tax Specialist to support tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities in a major EPC yard project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Korean tax compliance and reporting, including CIT, VAT, WHT, and local taxes

  • Prepare, review, and submit tax filings and ensure timely payments

  • Provide tax advisory support to finance, HR, and business teams

  • Analyze tax implications of contracts, operations, and cross-border transactions

  • Support international tax matters, including withholding tax and tax treaty application

  • Ensure VAT compliance, reconciliation, and support audits/refunds

  • Act as the point of contact with tax authorities and external auditors

  • Maintain tax documentation, policies, and internal controls

  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field 3–5 years of relevant tax experience Strong knowledge of Korean tax regulations (CIT, VAT, WHT, Local Tax)

  • Experience in tax compliance and advisory within South Korea

  • Familiarity with international taxation and cross-border transactions

  • Experience in EPC / project / site environment is a plus

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
