
Service Line Manager - Surgery Scheduling
Job Description
Fairview is hiring a Service Line Manager to join our Surgical Scheduling Team at our Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center location in Minneapolis, MN.
With a continuous focus on high quality patient care, the Service Line Manager is responsible for efficient and fiscally sound operational leadership for the Surgery Scheduling Team. As a manager you will be responsible for day to day operations and will work in close partnership with surgeons, operating room leadership, and service line leadership to ensure goals and objectives are supported through thoughtful planning and implementation. You will oversee accreditation and regulatory requirements, fiscal management, human resources management and collaboration with the Medical Directors and service line leadership to develop and implement strategies.
Schedule: 8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday
Location: 909 Fulton St. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455
Job Expectations:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Surgical Specialties program and services provided.
- Leads improvement efforts and ensures that staff and clinicians are supported and held accountable through consistent expectations.
- Acts as a liaison between leadership and system resources/partnerships.
- Is responsible for the financial performance of the team, including expense management and is a key contributor to driving efficient operating room use.
- Acts as a subject matter expert as it relates to patient satisfaction data.
- In partnership with HR, manages all HR activities for employed team members including recruitment, onboarding, staff assignments, recognition, and performance management.
- Acts as a subject matter for quality and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 3 years of healthcare experience in a complex setting.
- 1 year of experience leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or related field.

Compensation Disclaimer
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
