The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and optimizing our CRM system. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close deals. This is a hybrid, full-time position that reports directly to the CEO and Operations Manager. Experience within an Agency setting is a plus.
- Conduct multi-channel lead research, generation, and outreach.
- Identify and develop new sales channels and strategies for the firm.
- Manage leads on a day-to-day basis and ensure timely follow-up.
- Oversee sales pipeline management and communicate updates to management.
- Prepare compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring all terms are clearly defined and agreed upon.
- Keep CRM system updated with accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions.
- Schedule and coordinate sales meetings.
- Close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Create detailed case studies showcasing successful client projects.
- Collaborate closely with the email marketing team on campaigns and strategies.
- Implement drip marketing strategies for leads that go silent.
- Identify opportunities for corporate events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales and marketing reports.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Conduct outreach and lead generation for sponsorship sales.
- Attend regular sales networking meetings for BNI Chapter and other applicable networking organizations (remotely or in person).
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings and strategy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in a PR agency or related industry.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
