Inside Sales Manager (Hong Kong)
Job Description
As Inside Sales Manager, Hong Kong, you will be a member of our International inside sales team and report to our Director, Sales. You will work in a specified territory with revenue quota responsibility, in a position based in our Singapore office. You will prospect, qualify, manage and close sales opportunities in new and existing accounts, utilizing web-based product demonstrations to illustrate the value proposition and discuss needs.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include …
- Represent "The Company" and its product suite in customer accounts of all sizes and industries
- Meet and exceed direct sales goals within assigned international geographic territory
- Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, close and account care
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales potential with the ability to move a large number of transaction simultaneously through the sales pipeline
- Manage and track customer and transactional information into web-based system; logging all sales activity within the established processes; keeping customer account current and accurate
- Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering
- Provide product demonstration to prospects
- Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success
- Base in Singapore and minimum Singapore Permanent Resident.
- With 2-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in high volume, transactional sales of technology or services
- You have a desire, even an obsession, to bring / expand customers into the Tableau franchise and maximize revenue. You have the ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline with a proven track record of handling and closing a large number of transactions simultaneously
- You are a Go-Getter and is willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.

- Effective Communicator. You are clear and persuasive in verbal and written English & Mandarin and spoken Cantonese with highly effective use of email and telephone
- Enjoy the opportunity to travel abroad and have experience relating to customers from a variety of Asian countries and cultures.
Good to Have
- Have experience in a technical role (product support or training) a plus.
- Educated to university degree level with a technical or business focus preferred.
