Design Manager
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Creation, you will drive the design vision across our web and corporate channels (webpages, emails, newsletters, etc.). You will lead a team of three designers, as well as a design intern, and ensure smooth collaboration with project management, development, copywriting and integration teams.
Role overview
As Design Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and elevating our creative output. You will define and drive a strong design vision while ensuring high-quality execution across all projects :
Creative & design vision:
- Drive creativity and innovation within the team, fostering new ideas and exploring effective design solutions.
- Develop compelling design concepts aligned with brand guidelines, user needs, and industry best practices.
Team leadership:
- Lead, structure, and support a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Manage priorities and resource allocation to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, development, marketing, copywriting, and integration teams to ensure alignment between design, business objectives, and technical constraints.
Project oversight:
- Oversee the full design lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and respect of deadlines.
Design system & brand consistency:
- Ensure consistency across all touchpoints and contribute to the evolution of design guidelines and systems.
Continuous improvement:
- Pursue a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to push the boundaries of design to deliver unique and creative solutions.
- Minumum 8 years of experience in a web design-related position (UX/UI)
- Leadership and management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe creative apps)
- Proficiency in AI tools and in integrating generative AI into design workflows to optimize processes, accelerate ideation, produce creative assets, and enhance UX/UI.
- Proven ability to lead, structure, and evolve Design Systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and strong adoption across teams.
- Highly organized, autonomous and results-oriented
- Excellent oral/written communication, collaboration & influencing skills
- High-energy, hard-working team player
- Education to bachelor/master’s degree level
- Fluent in French, good English skills
- Previous experience in web communication agency or in fintech or retail finance business is a plus
