What you’ll do:
The HRS Operational Excellence Manager, EMEA position plays a pivotal role in supporting global standard HRS processes, driving continuous improvement, and achieving Eaton’s strategic objectives. As the OPEX leader, the incumbent will oversee a team of analysts and specialists, supporting the Regional HRS Director to develop and deploy HRS Stargey for the Region and align with global priorities. Responsibilities include planning and executing process improvement projects, as well as actively participating in new HRS implementations following Eaton’s Continuous Improvement Standards.
Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence
• Identify, prioritize, and implement opportunities for process optimization, standardization, waste reduction, and cost savings across HRS in EMEA
• Conduct current-state assessments, benchmarking, and gap analysis to define future-state processes
• Lead and facilitate CI initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., VSM, Kaizen, A3, RIE)
Strategy, Governance & Performance Management
• Build and deploy the CI roadmap and governance model in partnership withHRS leadership teams
• Lead CI councils and prioritize improvement initiatives based on business impact
• Define and track KPIs to measure efficiency, quality, and cost improvements across HRS
Project & Change Management
• Lead end-to-end delivery of CI and transformation projects (from charter through execution and closure)
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements; manage risks and dependencies (Project Pipeline ownership)
• Apply agile ways of working (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives) where applicable
Team Leadership & Capability Building
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of CI/OPEX professionals
• Build organizational capability in Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement practices across HRS teams
Digitization & Technology Enablement
• Identify and drive opportunities for automation and digitalization of processes
• Support implementation of digital tools and pilot programs to improve efficiency and user experience
Quality & Compliance
• Drive process quality improvements and reduction of defects and cost of non-conformance
• Ensure compliance with QMS, ISO standards, and internal requirements
Qualifications:
- University Degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Engineering desired, other areas welcome.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with process improvement and/or technology implementations
- Hands-on Lean experience
Skills:
Continuous Improvement & Lean Expertise
• Strong knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma tools and methodologies (e.g., VSM, Kaizen, RIE, BPI, 5S, TPM, SUR, LMF)
• Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
• Passion for continuous improvement and transformation
Technical & Analytical Skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate into actionable insights
• Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab (or other statistical software)
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Ability to standardize, automate, and optimize processes
Process, Quality & Problem Solving
• Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis (RCA, 8D, A3)
• Ability to identify key risks, drivers, and implement sustainable solutions
• High attention to detail with a structured, process-oriented mindset
Project & Change Management
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive organizational transformation
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations at operational and senior levels
Communication & Collaboration
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong people leadership capabilities
