Your responsibilities
- Keep advanced manufacturing equipment running at peak performance
- Diagnose faults, fix issues fast, and minimise downtime
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across automated systems
- Work with cutting-edge technology—robots, conveyors, welding and laser systems
- Drive continuous improvement using lean and problem-solving techniques
- Play a key role in safety, quality, and operational excellence
Required skills
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering (or a time-served apprenticeship)
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or automated environments
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a drive to improve
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
