Your Role
As our Cybersecurity Professional Services Consultant you will be responsible for deploying and implementing our data security and protection solutions in customer enterprise environments. In this position, the consultant has a central role in the organisation, generating revenue in coordination with sales, interfacing with the customer, and coordinating with R&D and product management to enhance and optimise the solution to meet customer’s needs.
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor, delivering high-quality consulting services and technical implementations that protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Customise and configure data security solutions to meet client-specific requirements
- Integrate security solutions with clients’ existing infrastructure (cloud, hybrid, on-prem)
- Design scalable and secure architectures for data security solutions
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams to understand customer needs and define technical scopes
- Translate business and compliance requirements into technical controls and processes
- Delivery of customer engagement in the area of HSM, CipherTrust, SafeNet Trusted Access, and/or PKI
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to client security and IT teams
- Offer post-deployment support and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Serve as a liaison between clients and product engineering teams for escalations and feedback
- Create detailed implementation documentation, security plans, and user guides
- Deliver executive-level and technical reports outlining project outcomes and recommendations
Your Experience
This is a highly hands-on and technical role with extensive customer facing responsibilities. You will work with cross functional teams at customer sites focusing mainly on IT security, data security, data encryption and key management to install and configure CSP (Thales) products. To be successful in this role you will bring the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ideally have 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, professional services, or technical consulting
- Strong understanding of network and endpoint security fundamentals
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS security models
- Solid experience of encryption, key management and hardware security modules (HSM) experience
- Experience in onsite and remote projects delivery model
- Experience in database administration (mainly Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, DB2, and/or Informix)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong client relationship and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Passion for continuous learning in cybersecurity
