Job Description

1.    Develop detailed job plans including the labor (type and quality), materials, tools, and work procedures for repairs, alterations, and preventative maintenance to facilities and equipment to meet the objective of the work request. 

2.    Prepare daily work schedules for multiple supervisors, and up to 20 Maintenance Technicians. 

3.    Manage and maintain the Work Flow process (work identification, planning, scheduling, execution, and auditing).

4.    Lead the scheduling of down day and non-down days.

5.    As part of the planning process, generate purchase requests for non-stocked parts and tools to support the planned jobs.

6.    Responsible for developing cost estimates. Tracking spending vs. budget and performance KPI’s for Maintenance.

7.    Set-up and maintain any Preventive Maintenance work orders established in EPAC including job plans, frequency, of work, etc.

8.    Supervises the Storeroom Attendant(s)

9.    EPACs Systems Administration including providing plant support and training, updating equipment hierarchies, PM generation etc. Generating performance reports.

Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes):

1.    Associates Degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or Logistics, or to be a Journeyman 

2.    5 years of plant specific maintenance experience. 

3.    10 years of maintenance experience and has been Planner for 2 years.

4.    Prior experience with maintenance software and personal computers is required

5.    Good organizational and scheduling skills a must

6.    Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, supervisory skills and be able to work well with others at all levels within the organization.
