Job Description

Role: Bank – Advanced Hand Therapists /Specialist Hand Therapists

Location:  HCA UK at the Shard Outpatient Physiotherapy Department, part of the London Bridge Hospital

Shifts:  Bank shifts required on a Wednesday & Friday, 7.5 hour shifts between 0800-2000

Pay: Bank hourly rate between £26.51ph – £35.35 dependent upon shift and experience.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hand Therapist to join our Physiotherapy Bank at HCA UK The Shard, part of London Bridge Hospital Campus, rated "outstanding" by CQC.

The Bank Hand Therapist will be responsible for a specialized hand and wrist caseload comprising of non-surgical and surgical managed patients with traumatic and elective hand/wrist and upper limb injuries.
 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Significant post graduate Hand Therapy clinical experience treating a wide a range of hand and wrist conditions (trauma and non-trauma) and post-operative rehabilitation, including skills such as wound management, removal of sutures and thermoplastic splinting.
  • Experience in assessing and treating work related biomechanical overuse conditions
  • Relevant postgraduate training or completing specialist master's level   modules/qualification (BAHT accreditation or equivalent)

Neuro Outpatients Physiotherapist - Bank

Roles: Specialist Physiotherapist/Advanced Physiotherapist

Location: HCA Healthcare UK, London Bridge Hospital - @The Shard

Contract Type: Bank – regular shifts available Monday - Friday, 08:00 -20:00
Pay: Bank hourly rate between £26.51ph – £35.35 dependent upon shift and experience.

What you’ll bring:

  • HCPC registration

  • Physiotherapy degree qualification

  • Extensive experience treating a wide range of neurological and facial conditions.

  • Experience in an Outpatient setting

  • Postgraduate training and CPD in the relevant specialist area of physiotherapy
