Position Summary

We are seeking a talented entry‑level Landscape Designer to join our fast‑growing Landscape Architecture team in our New York City studio. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering and design environment, contributing to a wide range of project types and scales.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, outgoing, and resourceful, with a passion for design excellence and a desire to grow within a dynamic team.


Responsibilities

  • Design Support — Assist in the development of conceptual, schematic, and detailed landscape designs.
  • Drawing & Documentation — Support the preparation of Design Development and Construction Document packages.
  • Digital Modeling — Produce digital graphics, renderings, and visualizations to communicate design intent.
  • Technical Coordination — Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to integrate landscape elements into multidisciplinary projects.
  • Site Analysis & Field Work — Participate in field work, including site visits, site inventory, measurements, photography, and documentation to support design development.
  • Research — Conduct research on materials, planting, sustainability strategies, and design precedents.
  • Project Support — Provide general project support, including drafting, modeling, and presentation preparation.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 0—3 years of experience
  • A high level of professionalism and strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of Design Development and Construction Document preparation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • Strong digital visualization and freehand graphic skills


 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bentley MicroStation/ OpenRoads
  • ProjectWise Explorer
  • Horticultural/ Arboriculture knowledge
  • ISA Certified Arborist credentials
  • GIS experience
  • Revit
  • Rhino
