Day in the Life of a Regional Director Eastern PA/NJ
The Crossroads Regional Director of Business Operations for Eastern PA/NJ will manage 25 OBOT centers ("Office-Based Opioid Treatment", an outpatient medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder) and is responsible for delivering consistent business results by setting clear performance expectations, executing against key performance indicators, and balancing short-term demands with long-term strategic priorities.
A strong understanding of local market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive environments is critical to shaping strategies that drive growth and strengthen market position. This position is accountable for building high-performing teams that consistently meet or exceed KPIs, achieves growth, and delivers operational excellence through strong leadership, strategic clarity, and disciplined execution.
Establish and drive achievement of business goals, objectives, and Key Performance Indicators
Develop and communicate a clear regional strategy aligned with organizational objectives
Execute strategy while identifying potential gaps, enabling risk mitigation efforts, while ensuring consistent performance delivery
Lead regional talent management efforts, including but not limited to attracting, onboarding, engaging, developing, and retaining high-performing talent
Foster a high-performing and inclusive culture rooted in trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Proactively address performance, talent, and operational challenges to sustain business success
Manage full P&L responsibility for multiple centers, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance optimization; monitor key financial metrics, identify risks, and implement strategies to protect and grow profitability
Balance short-term operational demands with long-term strategic priorities
Analyze and respond to local market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards while adapting to evolving trends
Promote cross-functional collaboration to optimize efficiency, performance and execution
Drive continuous improvement and innovation to enhance productivity, margins, and growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Schedule & Locations
This is a remote role that travels and is in centers. When working on-site, the employee operates in a professional office setting. While working remotely, the employee is expected to maintain a productive home office environment that supports effective job performance. The role requires the ability to effectively transition between in-office and remote settings, maintain consistent productivity, and utilize technology to collaborate, communicate, and perform job responsibilities across both environments. This position requires extensive travel, up to 75%, including but not limited to automobile, air travel, etc. Corporate visits average quarterly. Target areas for candidates to live would include Lancaster, Philadelphia, Cherry Hill or Mays Landing area.
Education and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Healthcare, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Master’s degree in Human Services, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of five years of leadership or management experience required.
Experience in substance use disorder treatment and/or mental health services strongly preferred.
