Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Research & Analysis

  • Conduct legal research on corporate laws, contract laws, intellectual property, regulatory frameworks, and relevant case laws.
  • Prepare concise research notes, summaries, and opinion drafts for internal use.
  • Track changes in relevant legislation and support internal compliance updates.

2. Contract Drafting & Review Support

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing commercial agreements such as NDAs, service agreements, procurement contracts, and vendor contracts.
  • Support the contract lifecycle process including version control, documentation, and internal approvals.
  • Maintain and update contract repositories under supervision.

3. Documentation & Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparing legal documents, notices, letters, and internal compliance forms.
  • Support regulatory compliance tasks as assigned (e.g., company law compliance, policy documentation, record-keeping).
  • Help maintain accurate and organized legal files, trackers, and audit-related documentation.

4. Corporate Governance Assistance

  • Support preparation of board meeting materials, minutes, and statutory records (as applicable).
  • Assist in drafting internal policies or SOPs under guidance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for required documentation.

5. Administrative & Coordination Activities

  • Assist the legal team with scheduling, document follow-up, stakeholder communication, and filing activities.
  • Help during audits, due diligence processes, and external legal interactions (if required).
