We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support to join our Foundational Solutions team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Triage, track, and resolve Incidents and Service Requests for Reconciliation applications.
- Follow ITIL Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management processes for production support.
- Maintain and improve monitoring and alerting; respond to automated alerts to restore BAU operations.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive problem management tasks for recurring issues.
- Maintain RTB IPA automation workflows in Logan/1Desk.
- Participate in change, release, and deployment activities (daily, weekly, and weekend as required).
- Support weekend maintenance windows as part of the release/maintenance schedule.
- Participate in application DR (Disaster Recovery) and failover testing.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Operating Systems: Unix/Linux and Windows OS.
- Databases: Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server (strong SQL skills).
- Scripting/Programming: Working knowledge of shell scripting, Perl, Java, and C.
- Virtualization: Experience with Java VMs, Linux VMs, and Windows VMs.
- ITIL: Hands-on experience with Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management processes.
- Data/Integration: Informatica, NDM.
- Messaging/Streaming: Kafka, MQ.
- Automation/Infrastructure: IPA tools; NAS and GSLB configuration.
- Monitoring/Alerting: Moog, AppDynamics (AppD), CloudProber, Prometheus, Splunk.
- Domain: Knowledge of Reconciliation business processes is an advantage.
- Service Support: Prior HelpDesk/Service Level Management exposure is a plus.
