This is a full time, 6 Month Maternity cover position. Working a 39 hour week, Monday – Thursday 05:00 – 13:30, Friday 05:00 – 12:30 and Saturday & Sunday 05:00 – 10:00.
As a Sample Management Analyst you will serve as a member of the Engineering group within the client environment to support their technical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities
- You will perform quality sampling and manage pharmaceutical water system samples, including storage, delivery and accurate, compliant documentation.
- You will liaise with Engineering, Operations and Laboratory teams to plan, schedule and execute sampling activities effectively.
- You will report issues related to water systems, environments, sample‑points, consumables or safety, ensuring timely escalation and follow‑up.
- You will support investigations into sample alert/action limits while upholding Eurofins safety, housekeeping and quality standards.
- You will work collaboratively within a multi‑functional Utilities team, assisting colleagues and remaining flexible to meet customer and business needs.
- You will manage your own training and compliance by maintaining curricula and ensuring all required documentation is completed on time, accurately and legibly.
What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as an Sample Management Analyst
- You will hold a degree‑level qualification in Microbiology or an equivalent scientific discipline, with relevant industry experience depending on your academic background.
- You will have a strong understanding of cGMP and the requirements of working in a regulated laboratory environment, with the ability to learn new processes quickly.
- You will hold excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear interactions and strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- You will have the ability to work independently while meeting timelines, staying organised, maintaining accurate documentation and performing effectively under pressure.
- You will have a collaborative, adaptable mindset with a proven track record of contributing to team goals in a dynamic, growing organisation.
- You will be customer‑focused, and have a quality‑driven approach, demonstrating motivation, flexibility, problem‑solving capability and a commitment to continuous improvement in line with Eurofins standards.
