Job Summary:
Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join the A+ Team and support the development of next-generation AMD server platforms.
This role will be responsible for managing motherboard product development programs from concept through mass production, working closely with engineering, system architecture, manufacturing, sourcing, validation, and customers to ensure successful product execution.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical understanding of server hardware architecture, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead motherboard development programs from project kickoff through mass production, ensuring on-time delivery of key milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Hardware, Layout, BIOS/BMC, SI/PI, Mechanical, Thermal, Validation, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive program execution.
- Manage project risks, engineering issues, action items, and escalations throughout the product lifecycle.
- Oversee prototype builds, qualification activities, production readiness, and manufacturing execution, including PCB/PCBA status and material readiness.
- Serve as the primary interface between internal teams, customers, suppliers, and technology partners to support design reviews, technical discussions, and schedule alignment.
- Prepare project status reports and communicate program progress, risks, and overall health to management.
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in managing server/PC/hardware development projects from concept through production.
- Strong understanding of server architecture, motherboard design, storage, networking, GPU, or data center technologies.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with x86 and ARM server platforms, motherboard design, and PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with BIOS, BMC, SI/PI, thermal, validation, and manufacturing workflows.
- Knowledge of PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, InfiniBand, GPU systems, AI infrastructure, and liquid cooling technologies.
- Experience supporting customer engagements, technical presentations, and solution development.
- Scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Shell, SQL, or automation tools) is a plus.
Salary Range
$115,000 - $123,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
