Summary Entravision is seeking a bilingual Assignment Editor to support its national, streaming-first news operation serving U.S. Hispanic audiences across FAST, OTT, digital, social, and broadcast platforms. The Assignment Editor will identify, verify, and coordinate coverage of breaking and developing news stories from across the country. The ideal candidate is digitally savvy, highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of how audiences consume news across streaming and social platforms. Essential Functions Monitor national breaking news, social media, wire services, public safety sources, and emerging trends. Identify, verify, and develop stories relevant to Hispanic audiences nationwide. Coordinate coverage with producers, reporters, correspondents, and field crews. Book interviews and assist with logistics for live and breaking news coverage. Build and maintain relationships with newsmakers, public information officers, and community organizations. Monitor platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, and WhatsApp for story opportunities. Support content distribution across streaming, digital, social, and broadcast platforms.
