Summary:
In this role, you will support Vizient pharmacy clients across GPO and Pharmacy Enterprise engagements to deliver insightful data analysis, strategic recommendations, and operational improvements for clients. You will collaborate with internal teams and client pharmacy leaders to design innovative solutions, guide project execution, interpret complex data, and present actionable insights to senior leadership. You will leverage project management methodologies to ensure successful delivery of client objectives while supporting the development of tools, services, and intellectual capital within the team.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of innovative, data-driven solutions and program offerings that enhance pharmacy financial and operational performance across diverse client environments.
Execute project plans across multiple engagements, managing priorities and ensuring timely delivery of milestones in a high-demand environment.
Facilitate client meetings, discussions, and project updates.
Perform advanced data analysis, modeling, and benchmarking to generate actionable insights; synthesize complex datasets into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
Partner with Spend Management, Analytics, and Pharmacy Leadership teams to improve operational efficiency, clinical outcomes, and cost management across the pharmacy enterprise.
Analyze and optimize all classes of trade—including 340B and WAC—by evaluating purchasing strategies, contract performance, and regulatory considerations to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
Collaborate with supplier stakeholders to identify contracting opportunities, support negotiations, and drive value-based agreements aligned to client clinical and financial goals.
Develop dashboards, executive presentations, and reporting tools for pharmacy leadership, finance teams, and senior executives.
Support program expansion by identifying new opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational improvement across a growing client base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners, supporting knowledge sharing and successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience required.
Experience in pharmacy operations, pharmacy business management, GPO, or healthcare consulting preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in analytics, financial modeling, and large dataset manipulation.
Experience interpreting and presenting complex operational and financial information to pharmacy and executive leadership.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience facilitating client meetings and delivering presentations preferred.
Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and clients.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
