Service & Repair Technician

Overview The Service Technician’s focus will be on diagnosing/repairing commercial and industrial cleaning equipment. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to troubleshoot vacuum cleaners, auto scrubbers, 120VAC, 12VDC 24VDC, 36/VDC equipment, perform repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and perform facility maintenance tasks as needed.   Imperial Dade is the leading distributor of foodservice packaging, facilities maintenance supplies and equipment in the U.S. As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, the company serves customers in many business-to-business market segments including supermarkets, healthcare facilities, universities, and restaurants. Keep current on service manuals and trade documents. Work with Procurement to maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet needs of customers. Physical count of inventory. Maintain and schedule preventative maintenance program. Log and respond to all customer calls on a timely basis. Cross training on troubleshooting equipment repairs. Drive company work van with trailer. Qualifications High School Diploma. Technical school training. Mechanical experience. Ability to lift, bend, squat, and crawl. Ability to lift 70lbs.
