
Senior Internal Communications Manager
Job Description
C.H. Robinson is seeking a Internal Senior Communications Manager to execute innovative, integrated communications that connect employees to our strategy, vision, and enterprise priorities. In this role, you will advise HR leaders and executive stakeholders, develop messaging strategies, and create engaging content that supports employee engagement, organizational change, leadership communications, and critical people initiatives. You will partner across HR teams to build thoughtful communication plans that educate, empower, and inspire employees and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, consultative communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and can turn complex initiatives into clear, impactful messaging.

Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Partner with HR, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop communications strategies that support enterprise priorities and drive engagement
- Create clear, compelling messaging and integrated communication plans that inform, inspire, and influence key audiences
- Tell C.H. Robinson’s story through consistent, engaging content across email, video, Viva Engage, presentations, intranet, leadership meetings, and other channels
- Develop innovative communication channels, processes, and storytelling approaches that elevate the employee and stakeholder experience
- Advise senior leaders and internal teams on communication strategy, message development, audience impact, and campaign execution
- Use analytics, insights, and engagement metrics to strengthen content strategy, improve storytelling, and recommend action plans
- Lead complex, cross-functional communication projects from strategy through execution, ensuring work is well-planned, sequenced, and aligned across the enterprise
- Manage crisis and disruption communications for incidents or market changes impacting employees, customers, or stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with leaders, subject matter experts, and employees to uncover stories, shape messaging, and support enterprise-wide initiatives
- Review, edit, and deliver high-quality communications that reflect C.H. Robinson’s brand voice, writing standards, and commitment to clarity
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 4 years of HR communications experience and executive-level communication with a proven track record of successfully communicating to large audiences to inspire change and enhance engagement
- Strong copywriting and sharp, error-free editing skills

- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and a positive, inclusive team environment
- Stay current on communication trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities to innovate
- Identify ways to improve processes, communication channels, and team structures for greater impact
- Motivate others, encourage change, and drive positive outcomes across a large, dispersed organization
- Demonstrate sound judgment, adaptability, and professionalism when working with diverse stakeholders

Compensation Range
$77,200.00 - $122,300.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
