アマゾンのオフィスプロダクト事業部は、オフィス用品・オフィス家具・文房具などを扱う、アマゾンジャパンの中でも歴史ある主要カテゴリーの一つです。本ポジションでは、担当カテゴリーの品揃え最適化・売上利益最大化・顧客体験向上に責任を持ち、事業成長をリードするカテゴリー責任者を募集します。
当事業部は現在、以下の3つの戦略的柱を軸に大きな変革期を迎えています:
全価格帯における競争力の維持・強化:低単価帯商品においても競争力を維持するため、物流・オペレーションのコスト構造を継続的に最適化し、幅広い価格帯でお客様に価値を届ける
プレミアムセレクションの拡充:高級筆記具・文房具をはじめとした高付加価値商品の品揃えを強化し、ASP(平均販売単価)の向上を図る
B2B領域の拡大:オフィス家具を中心に、法人顧客向けの品揃え・購買体験を強化し、Amazon Businessとの連携を深める
これらの戦略を実行するにあたり、単なるバイヤー・仕入れ担当にとどまらず、データ分析・ベンダー交渉・社内横断プロジェクトのリードまで幅広くオーナーシップを持って推進いただきます。
主な業務内容
1. 事業目標の設定と進捗管理
担当カテゴリーの売上・利益・在庫目標を設定し、予算作成から実行管理まで責任を持つ
定期的なレビューを通じて課題を早期に特定し、対策をリードする
2. 市場分析と販売戦略の立案・実行
販売データ・市場セグメントトレンドを深掘り分析し、競合環境を踏まえた戦略を立案
特に全価格帯のコスト構造分析およびプレミアム帯の市場機会分析を主導する
3. 仕入れ先の選定・開拓と条件最適化
国内外メーカー・ディストリビューターとの新規取引開拓および既存取引条件の改善
高級筆記具・オフィス家具メーカーとの新規パートナーシップ構築を含む
4. ベンダーとの戦略的パートナーシップ構築
メーカー・ディストリビューターとの長期的・戦略的な関係を構築・維持
複雑な交渉においても、データと戦略的判断に基づき双方にとってWin-Winとなる合意を形成する
5. プロモーション・マーケティング施策の企画・実行
商材の特性に合わせたプロモーション計画を立案し、マーケティング部門・ベンダーと連携して実行
B2B向け販促施策(Amazon Business連携含む)を企画・推進し、法人顧客への訴求力強化を図る
6. 社内クロスファンクショナル連携
在庫管理・ウェブサイト作成・出品者事業部・マーケティング・物流・Amazon Businessなど関連部署と密接に連携
担当カテゴリーにおける顧客体験の継続的な改善を推進する
シニアマネジメントへの定期的な事業報告・提言を行う
7. 全社横断プロジェクトへの参画・リード
事業部を超えた戦略プロジェクトにリードまたはコアメンバーとして参画し、成果を出す
Summary
Join Amazon Japan's Office Products division and shape the future of how businesses and individuals source their essential supplies. In this role, you'll own the complete business strategy for your category—from P&L performance to customer experience—while driving growth across three transformative strategic initiatives that are reshaping the office products market.
You'll move beyond traditional procurement to become a strategic business leader, leveraging data insights, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver competitive value across all price points, expand our premium selection, and accelerate B2B growth.
Key job responsibilities
Set and manage category performance targets by establishing sales, profit, and inventory goals, then owning the complete cycle from budget planning through execution and course correction
Develop data-informed strategies by conducting market analysis, competitive landscape reviews, and cost structure assessments across all price tiers to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning
Source and optimize vendor partnerships by identifying new trading relationships with domestic and international manufacturers and distributors, negotiating favorable terms, and building strategic alliances with premium brands
Lead cross-functional initiatives by collaborating with in-stock management, website, marketing, logistics, and Amazon Business teams to enhance customer experience and drive continuous improvement within your category
Execute promotional and marketing strategies by developing category-specific promotional plans and leading B2B-focused campaigns that strengthen engagement with corporate customers and support overall business objectives
A day in the life
You'll drive category performance and strategic growth for office products—reviewing sales data and inventory metrics, identifying trends that inform vendor negotiations and promotional strategies. You'll lead cross-functional meetings with marketing, logistics, and Amazon Business teams to align on campaigns targeting corporate customers, and conduct deep-dive analyses on competitive pricing and market opportunities. Your role balances analytical work (data mining, cost optimization, P&L management) with relationship building—negotiating terms with established suppliers and cultivating new brand partnerships. You'll collaborate across in-stock management, website teams, and third-party sellers, and lead strategic projects spanning multiple business divisions.

- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain management, or related field
- Experience in vendor management, procurement, category management, or business operations
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business data and translate insights into strategic recommendations
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with multiple internal teams
- Fluent Japanese; Business English
- Master's degree in business administration or related field
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or marketplace environments
- Background in office products, B2B sales, or related categories
- Experience developing and executing vendor negotiation strategies
- Track record of leading strategic initiatives that span multiple business functions or divisions

Summary
