The Role:

We have an opportunity for a talented web content writer/specialist to join our Marcomms content team.  The content team produce content to support all business units within Knight Frank however, this role works primarily across our website with a primary focus on Residential.  We’ve been through an exciting transition on our website as we migrate to a new CMS and start to invest in our user journeys and this role will work closely with the web & UX teams as well as the Senior Web Content Specialist to ensure that our web content accurately reflects our various services and business lines as well as ensuring that our pages rank (and continue to do so) from an SEO/LLM perspective.

About You:

You’re an excellent digital writer with equally strong SEO knowledge who has experience working with web product and technical SEO teams to ensure you deliver a digital product that offers a positive UX.  You’re strategic, innovative, collaborative and able to problem solve and put the user first whilst also being able to work to timelines and manage stakeholder expectations.  You can manage up, sideways and down and are comfortable pivoting between different brand needs and expectations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.  If this sounds like you then read on!

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively to deliver a content strategy perspective throughout the product development process.  Influence strategic decisions throughout the product development process to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency across platforms.

  • Writing web content with the user experience at its heart.

  • Using data to inform and test content choices and communicating those decisions to the business.

  • Use SEO strategies to maximise the online visibility of our website.

  • Proficient with platforms such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, and GA4 and have experience of tracking keyword performance and optimising content where necessary.

  • Use our CMS to upload and manage content across the web.

  • Prioritise work according to business priorities.

Professional Experience:

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Excellent level of written English.

  • A sharp eye for editorial detail such as grammar and editorial structure.

  • Experience in all areas of digital content publishing, planning and editing.

  • Proficient with SEO/LLM best practice and has the ability to implement digital strategies.

  • Experience using data to make data lead strategic decisions.

  • Experience working with product teams to maximise the user experience.

  • A self starter who can take a brief but also create their own briefs with minimum supervision.

  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.

  • The ability to follow brand guidelines, experience of using a CMS and editing images, working knowledge of coding HTML, excellent attention to detail and strong project management skills. Senior stakeholder experience a bonus.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Professional with a ‘can do’ attitude.
