WHAT YOU WILL DO

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Perfetti Van Melle, one of the largest multinational companies in the confectionary market, owner of leading local and global brands like Vivident, Mentos, Chupa Chups or Big Babol would like to employ Procurement Specialist. Procurement Specialist will work on Supply Chain Department and will be reporting to Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities;

• Responsible from purchasing of direct goods and service procurement,
• Provide financial advantage to the company by executing procurement activities in line with requested quality, quantity and time,
• Making short and long term contracts with the suppliers,
• Ensures alignment and approval from relevant stakeholders as required,
• Monitoring of supplier performance against agreed contract terms,
• Handles operational interaction with suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed contract,
• Coordinate the purchasing operations process in line with SAP,
• Create purchase orders with correct data and transmit to vendor with applicable documentation,
• Enrich and update supplier portfolio via market analysis,
• Manages day-to-day communication with suppliers,
• Handles routine commercial matters & supports day-to-day operational issue resolution.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

Qualifications required for this position are as follows;

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably from an engineering department or Business Administration),
• Min. 2 years experience of procurement (preferably FMCG sector),
• Good command of written and verbal English,
• Good command of MS Office (knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Ariba is an asset),
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
• Strong analytical & reporting skills,
• Strong negotiation skills.
