Job Description

The Visa LabGarage is a unique entity at Visa Brazil, responsible for the exploration, incubation and launch of new solutions. We operate in an agile mind set to rapidly build, test, iterate, and scale products quickly.  We are a team of entrepreneurs, engineers, product developers and creators looking to build ambitious businesses.

The Visa LabGarage Product Senior Manager is a versatile role, able to lead a variety of product development efforts and partnerships to launch impactful product concepts and platforms that can scale. You will work collaboratively with lean teams composed of entrepreneurs, product managers and full-stack developers in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Think holistically about the design of new offerings and the implications related to both the customer’s experience as well as the venture’s ability to implement and scale. 
• Manage the development and launch of new product features and reports through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through implementation, and release.
• Partner with engineering to ensure requirements & user interfaces are properly implemented and meet architectural guidelines
• Monitor the implementation and ongoing results of projects;
• Support the interface between internal clients (account executives, product team, consulting team, etc.) and external clients.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• ​Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a project manager and/or scrum master leading projects.
• Solid experience in agile methods.
• Solid experience in technical solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of software development, product development and rapid prototyping capabilities.
• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, clients, and external partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational, planning, and analytical skills, including project scheduling, estimating, risk identification, and change management.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
