The Degree Programmes Department at INSEAD oversees the institution’s world-class academic offerings, including the MBA, Executive MBA, Master in Management, and other specialized degrees. The department is responsible for curriculum development, student support, and program administration, ensuring an exceptional learning experience that aligns with INSEAD’s commitment to developing global leaders. INSEAD seeks an Apprentice , Student Life Experience Assistant to join our Degree Programmes department. This is an apprenticeship based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.
About the Job
As an Apprentice – Assistant Student Life Experience you will actively contribute to enhancing and developing the community experience at INSEAD. You will manage the Community App in close collaboration with internal teams, ensuring effective moderation of groups and proper use of the platform. You will also identify and develop new use cases to support its ongoing evolution and improvement.
In this role, you will help strengthen engagement among students and alumni by facilitating the sharing of information and experiences, while contributing to the continuous enhancement of their overall experience within the INSEAD community.
Your role within the team
- Supervise group structure (i.e. deduplicate groups) and ensure accurate use of naming convention.
- Monitor group usage and involve the appropriate colleagues across Degree Programmes.
- Monitor content and make suggestions for content to drive usage and engagement.
- Establish use cases and make proposals for further development and enhancement to the platform
- Suggest strategies and actions for continued adoption of the platform by students.
- Review and update user groups (owner, admin, moderator), and obsolete groups on a regular basis and at a minimum between classes (approx. every 4 months).
- Establish reports and KPIs to measure utilization and benefits of the platform.
The ideal profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication, digital, community management (starting in September 2026).
- Digital native.
- Platform adoption strategies and community building
- Interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students, staff and external stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in English written and oral is a must.
- Sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds.
