Technical Service Representative

The Technical Service Representative will interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner while receiving and discharging trucks to and from the Service Center.  The role will operate all makes and models of Vac-Con trucks to diagnose and repair deficiencies and will accurately prepare both written and electronic documentation pertaining to customer satisfaction. Communicates service orders in a timely manner. Will be able to work both on his own with limited supervision as well as in a team environment.

Essential Functions/Duties:

Identify deficiencies in operation of all models of Vac Con trucks. 

Identifies materials, parts and supplies needed to complete a repair in a safe and efficient manner.  You must be able to drive and operate Vac Con trucks of all models. 

Uses computer and computer programs to find information concerning the assemblies, schematics and truck information. 

Follows prints and schematics as well as technical manuals and written and spoken instructions.  

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

3-5 Years

Other required KSA (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Ability to diagnose and repair various mechanical, hydraulic, water, and electrical systems.

Working Environment: Hot, cold, dry, wet, dirty, oily, conditions and may be subject to foul odors.     

Travel Requirements:

Periodic, as needed
