About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager eCommerce EMEA/APAC, the Amazon Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and partnership growth with Amazon across Europe (EU10), Middle East (UAE/KSA), and APAC (Australia/Japan) through the management of Ansell’s Vendor accounts.
You will lead the long-term strategic development of the Amazon account while overseeing day-to-day operations, owning the commercial agenda across products, pricing, and marketing for both Retail and Business customers. As part of the EMAP Marketing organization, you will actively contribute to Ansell’s Digital Transformation and Omnichannel strategy, executing the global eCommerce roadmap.
Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities
Own the Amazon Vendor relationship across Europe (EU10), Middle East (UAE/KSA), and APAC (AU/JP), acting as the primary interface between Ansell and Amazon
Drive revenue, profitability, and KPI delivery through Annual Vendor Negotiations (AVN), full P&L ownership, and commercial excellence.
Lead the Annual Vendor Growth Plan (VGP) with a data‑driven strategy to deliver profitable, sustainable growth
Manage day‑to‑day Amazon Vendor Central operations, including product listings, content, pricing, variations, and Lost Featured Offers.
Define and execute the marketing calendar to increase traffic, acquisition, and customer experience
Manage sales investments, provisions, forecasting, and demand planning, including inventory projections
Ensure digital shelf excellence and merchandising optimization in collaboration with agencies and internal teams
Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, IT, and other teams to deliver tailored Amazon solutions
Provide regular performance reporting with actionable insights to support continuous improvement
Act as a local eCommerce champion, sharing best practices and building internal capability
Key Position Requirements & Competencies
Education
Academic degree (BA/MBA preferred) or equivalent professional experience across multiple distribution channels
Experience & Skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience driving sales and business development on Amazon, preferably Amazon Vendor
Proven experience managing P&L and overall financial performance
Strong cross‑functional and cross‑cultural experience in a global matrix organization
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI
Experience with eCommerce and content tools (e.g. Helium10, Smartscout, Salsify) is an advantage
