Overview
Responsible for leading and supervising the Commercial Operations Team in delivering compliant, competitive, and timely proposals for qualified HT&P and Pigging opportunities across the APAC & IMENA regions, in alignment with TDW’s strategic objectives. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and other internal stakeholders, throughout the order lifecycle to ensure successful execution and consistently positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage the assignment of inquiries and opportunities to Commercial Operations Specialists, ensuring timely and high-quality quotations while meeting all critical deadlines. Monitor pipeline progress and drive accountability to achieve monthly targets.
- Own and drive monthly revenue performance, ensuring alignment with APAC & IMENA budgets and forecasts. Continuously track order intake, conversion rates, and revenue realization, taking corrective actions to close gaps.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain) to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient execution of commercial activities.
- Develop and nurture customer and partner relationships, including front-end sales teams, channel partners, and third-party customers, to support business growth and enhance customer satisfaction across the APAC & IMENA regions.
- Provide commercial and technical guidance to the team by reviewing complex inquiries, ensuring alignment with company capabilities, pricing strategies, and risk considerations.
- Oversee contract and commercial terms review, ensuring compliance with company policies. Collaborate closely with Legal to negotiate and finalize contractual agreements while mitigating risks.
- Act as a key escalation point and problem solver, proactively identifying issues in the quotation-to-cash cycle and implementing effective solutions to maintain operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure smooth handling of order-related matters, from proposal development through order execution, invoicing, and delivery.
- Support and participate in customer negotiations, helping Sales teams optimize deal structures, pricing strategies, and contractual positions.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, while driving strong cash collection performance through close monitoring of receivables and proactive follow-up with customers and internal teams.
- Analyze commercial performance and KPIs, contributing to monthly reporting and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency, margin, and conversion rates.
- Lead, develop, and inspire the team by hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating performance of direct reports. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive process improvements and operational excellence, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance systems usage, and improve overall team productivity.
