Deputy Fire Marshal

The Deputy Fire Marshal ensures fire prevention, life safety and education of Utah State University campus, through performing fire code inspections of all buildings under the jurisdiction of the Utah State University Fire Marshal’s Office through enforcement of the International Building, Fire and NFPA life safety codes. The Deputy Fire Marshal will work independently at times under the direction of the Fire Marshal and Assistant Fire Marshal, relying on experience, knowledge and judgment to accomplish fire prevention and life safety throughout the Utah State University community.
