Coding Review Tech II-BH Interventional Pulmonology LR

Department: BH Interventional Pulmonology LR

Shift: Day

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Summary:

The Coding Review Tech II reviews clinical documentation and applies appropriate billing and diagnostic codes using accepted guidelines. The tech also keeps all WQ's up-to-date and under the 14 day requirement of completion. 

Other information:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. 
2. 2 Years coding experience required.
3. CPC certification preferred.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology with an in-depth understanding of ICD-10CM and CPT Coding principles focusing on evaluation and management services. 
5. Fundamental knowledge of current standard billing practices as defined by AMA, as well as, the ability to interpret clinical data. 
   
6. Computer skills required.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
