LOCATION: Hybrid in London, UK

SALARY£100,000 - £120,000 base salary + bonus & equity

The Role:

As part of our global expansion, we are seeking a London based Implementation Manager. This role will lead a team of Project Managers and Implementation Consultants that onboard new clients onto the Canoe Intelligence platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring a high quality onboarding experience as well as help drive customer value realization.

In this role, you will be responsible for the performance, development, and success of your team. Your leadership will be key in driving both client satisfaction and team effectiveness. You will guide your team to execute standard, repeatable processes that adhere to the high quality delivery of the Canoe platform.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic PM Leadership: Define, implement, and continuously optimize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid) and best practices across the organization.

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, effective resource allocation, and clear prioritization.

  • Project Delivery Excellence: Lead the team in driving the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of critical projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and in-scope delivery.

  • Team Building & Mentorship: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Client Project Managers as the company scales. Provide coaching and guidance to foster continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical, product, commercial, compliance, and executive teams, ensuring clear communication, expectation alignment, and proactive issue resolution.

  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating to executive leadership when necessary and developing contingency plans.

  • Reporting & Transparency: Establish and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to provide accurate and timely project status, progress, and performance metrics to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Financial & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure project management processes incorporate and adhere to relevant financial regulations, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

  • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous learning and process improvement within the PM function and across the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A collaborative spirit, with a desire to work in a team-oriented environment that values continuous improvement.

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS implementations, with a preference for complex, enterprise clients and/or fintech environments.

  • 3+ years of people management experience, including managing team members, handling escalations, and designing process structures that drive team success.

  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.

  • Technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and explain complex technology solutions to both team members and clients.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and inspire.

  • Expertise in project management, change management, and expectation management.

  • Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to solving problems and driving results.

  • Client-centric mindset, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional value to customers.
