We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to assist a sweet couple residing at Monte Vista Assisted Living in El Paso. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in elderly care, a kind demeanor, and a strong sense of responsibility. This is a consistent weekday position with steady hours.
Responsibilities:
- Assist both clients with bathroom needs and personal care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain the apartment clean and organized (light housekeeping)
- Escort clients downstairs for lunch daily
- Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to the care coordinator
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Compensation:
$11- 14 per hour depending on experience
