We are looking for a Global Physical Asset Manager – Infrastructure & HSWB Assets who is analytical, collaborative, and strategic to join our Global Physical Asset Management / Transversal Asset Fleet Management team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium, or Bulle, Switzerland.
About the role
You will help shape the future of UCB’s infrastructure, underground, and Health, Safety & Well-Being asset landscape at global level. You will define asset strategies that support lifecycle performance, site integrity, workforce protection, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and long-term business value. You will play a key role in making physical asset decisions more risk-based, data-driven, standardized, maintainable, and aligned with UCB’s growth ambitions.
Who you will work with
You will join the Global Physical Asset Management team and work closely with experts across Business, EHS, Engineering, Facilities Management, QA, Operations, Technical Services, Finance, Procurement, and ISSP. You will collaborate with site and global stakeholders to challenge priorities, align investment decisions, and support practical asset strategies across UCB’s global network.
What you will do
- You will co-develop global asset management standards, governance principles, and lifecycle methodologies across infrastructure and HSWB (Health, Safety & Well-Being) assets.
- You will lead modernization and renewal strategies using risk-based, data-driven asset insights and prioritization.
- You will maintain a consolidated fleet view covering asset condition, compliance, supportability, performance, and investment needs.
- You will manage lifecycle strategies for infrastructure, underground assets, and safety-related HSWB systems.
- You will ensure asset decisions reflect prevention, protection, compliance, operational safety, and enterprise risk expectations.
- You will partner with key functions to build business cases and align investments with enterprise objectives.
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
- You hold a Master’s degree in engineering, asset management, facilities, or a related technical field.
- You bring strong experience in asset management, lifecycle management, and technical risk management.
- You understand infrastructure, underground assets, safety systems, lifecycle needs, and degradation mechanisms.
- You can build business cases linking asset decisions to resilience, cost competitiveness, COGS, and EBITDA.
- You communicate complex technical topics clearly and influence senior stakeholders with practical recommendations.
- You are fluent in French and have full professional proficiency in English; IAM certification is a plus.
