Job Description

Open Door Group (ODG), a mission-driven non-profit organization serving communities across Alberta and BC, is seeking a collaborative, is looking for a Quality Assurance Agent to join our team!


Salary: $27.68 to $29.44 per hour, Health Sciences Association, Community Bargaining Association Grid 12

Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: 36 Hours per week

Location: This position will be hybrid remote, with a primary work location of a home office a secondary work location from the Open Door Group office in the successful candidate's community. Preference will be given to candidates located in Vancouver, Kamloops and Sechelt, to support collaboration with internal teams and organizational initiatives.

Your Role:

The Quality Assurance Agent plays a vital role in ensuring service excellence, contractual compliance, accreditation standards, and data security across Open Door Group. This position is responsible for reviewing client service delivery practices, financial transactions, and documentation to ensure alignment with ODG’s service standards, funder policies, CARF accreditation standards, and privacy obligations.

Working closely with the programs and administrative teams, the Quality Assurance Agent provides detailed insights and supports continuous improvement through systematic reviews, monitoring, and data-driven recommendations.

What you bring to the position:

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary certificate (one-year) in business administration, social services, quality assurance, auditing, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of recent, relevant experience (e.g. quality assurance, compliance monitoring, auditing), preferably in non-profit, social services, or government-funded programs.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Required to complete and maintain a satisfactory criminal record.

  • Solid understanding of quality assurance, risk, and compliance methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); CRM or case management experience is a strong asset.

Organizational & Technical Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset.
