Job Description
Who we are
Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.
Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.
Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.
This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.
We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.
If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.
What you’ll do
As a Recruiter, Early Career Recruiting, you’ll be the face of Atoms on campuses and in emerging talent communities. You’ll help launch careers by building and scaling our internship and new grad programs for engineering, product, and technical teams. You will:
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process for interns, co-ops, and new grads across Software Engineering, Product Management, Data, and other technical roles.
- Partner with universities and bootcamps to build brand presence through career fairs, tech talks, hackathons, and student org relationships.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and engineering leaders to forecast headcount, define intern project scopes, and create strong conversion pathways to full-time roles.
- Design engaging candidate experiences from first touchpoint to offer, including interview processes tailored for early career talent.
- Build diverse pipelines through creative sourcing, events, and programs focused on underrepresented groups in tech.
- Leverage data and insights to track funnel health, campus ROI, offer acceptance rates, and intern conversion, using metrics to improve outcomes year over year.
- Champion our culture by being an ambassador for CSS values and ensuring every candidate has a positive, high-touch experience.
What we’re looking for
- 1-3 years of recruiting experience, with exposure to campus, university, or early career recruiting preferred. Experience recruiting Software Engineers or technical talent is a plus.
- A relationship builder who’s energized by connecting with students, professors, and campus partners. You thrive at events and in 1:1 conversations.
- Strong project management skills — you can juggle multiple campus calendars, interview loops, and offer processes without dropping details.
- Excellent communicator who can pitch Atoms students as easily as you can align with hiring managers on role expectations.
- Creative and scrappy mindset — you find new ways to reach talent and aren’t afraid to pilot new ideas for campus engagement.
- Data-curious with ability to use metrics to tell a story and improve processes. ● Passion for candidate experience and for launching careers in tech
