Base salary will be in the range $95,361 - $102,302 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6)

As the Senior Student Success Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the student experience within UQ’s flagship Bachelor of Arts program - one of the University’s largest and most diverse degrees.
Working at the intersection of curriculum, employability and student engagement, you will partner with academic leaders, industry, alumni and professional teams to embed meaningful career development opportunities and industry connections into the student journey. This is a unique opportunity to influence innovative faculty-wide initiatives, contribute to transformational educational experiences, and help students build the capabilities, confidence and connections needed for success beyond university.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Design and deliver faculty-wide initiatives that enhance student belonging, progression and employability within the Bachelor of Arts, particularly in first year.
Build strong partnerships with alumni, industry, academic staff and professional teams to embed career development and future pathways into the student experience.
Lead the planning and delivery of staff and industry events, while coordinating and supporting casual staff, volunteers and student contributors.
Contribute to evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen student success outcomes across the program.
About You
Completion of a Bachelor degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise in career development learning; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Demonstrated experience in designing and coordinating projects related to teaching, learning or the student experience.
Strong event management skills, including the ability to work independently, prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
Experience collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including academic staff, alumni and/or industry.
Ability to analyse data, write succinct reports, and accurately integrate information from a variety of sources.
