Working closely with Sales and Account Management, this role supports the full client lifecycle—driving new business success, retention, and growth through strong relationships and responsive, value-driven service.
As a trusted and visible point of contact, the MSR simplifies complex processes, strengthens partnerships, and elevates the overall customer experience through operational excellence and a deep understanding of client needs.
[Remote] – This position offers a remote work schedule that allows you to stay fully engaged with your team to provide outstanding, customer focused service during our core hours (8:30 AM–5:30 PM EST). Periodic office visits may be requested based on business needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with assigned customers and brokers
Collaborate with Distribution and internal partners to meet customer expectations, deliver value-added solutions, and support growth and persistency objectives while promoting our powerfully simple and agile model
Develop a deep understanding of key brokers and customers within the assigned market/territory
Partner with Sales Executives and Account Managers on renewal preparation, strategy, and delivery, ensuring all renewals are delivered timely, accurately, and fully documented
Support pipeline management in Salesforce (CRM) and ensure all customer and broker activities are clearly documented
Partner with the Implementation team to ensure successful activation of new groups, meeting all broker and client expectations
Take full ownership and accountability for all service-related requests, managing through resolution and confirming completion with customers in alignment with SLAs (including product/policy questions, administrative changes, billing, claims, enrollment, and general support)
Proactively communicate with customers, educating and guiding them on products, tools, and resources to support future needs
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Account Managers, Sales Executives, and internal partners across the organization
Clearly articulate the value of Equitable, our partnerships, and our product offerings
Provide post-implementation outreach to educate clients and brokers on administrative policies and the EB360 portal
Stay current on market trends and changes, providing insights and consultation to address evolving client needs
The base salary range for this position is $47,000 - $67,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You Will Bring
College degree or commensurate experience
Ability to work with the various internal partners and support account management team
Some account management background
Extremely organized and great written communication skills
Ability to work in fast pace environment with large volume work tasks
Microsoft office experience, especially Excel
Prefer experience working with strategic partner and/or national account clients
Skills
Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals.
Knowledge of Insurance Operations: Knowledge of the full spectrum of activities, practices, tools and considerations for insurance operations; ability to apply knowledge of insurance operations to provide administrative support to the insurance business.
Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.
Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Relationship Building: Knowledge of the importance of creating positive relationships within the team and ability to develop trusting relationships by valuing others' concerns and contributions.
