Nurse Practitioner-Hospice Family Care-PRN

The Nurse Practitioner provides direct comprehensive interdisciplinary patient care and evidence based practice including obtaining comprehensive patient histories, performing complete physical examination, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing and screening, diagnosing illness, prescribing both pharmacological and other treatments for patients, works in collaboration with the Hospice team to provide hospital services and provides health maintenance and quality of life promotion interventions such as patient and family education and counseling.
