Position Summary
At Jet Aviation Design Studio, you create bespoke interior solutions for VIP aircraft, bringing customer visions to life.
As a CMF Specialist, you drive colors, materials, and finishes, combining design excellence with technical and certification requirements. You also ensure all customer materials and delivery elements are perfectly prepared, contributing to a seamless and premium handover experience.
Your Role
CMF, Design & Innovation
- Develop and implement color, material, and finishes (CMF) concepts across all project phases
- Conduct trend research and supplier scouting to maintain a market-leading CMF portfolio
- Build and maintain a comprehensive materials library
- Drive innovation in sustainable materials and advanced CMF research
- Create sample boards, presentations, and FF&E schedules
- Be the main contact in the team for vendors and suppliers for all soft and decorative materials
- Support design teams with material selection, specifications, and ordering
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, production, and design teams
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (EASA/FAA, FAR/JAR), including certification and flammability requirements
- Contribute to positioning Jet Aviation as a leader in CMF excellence
Customer Materials & Delivery
- Analyze completion packages to define loose equipment and delivery requirements
- Coordinate and track customer property, materials, spare parts, and amenities
- Ensure completeness and readiness of all delivery items (equipment, manuals, documentation)
- Support the Customer Completion & Delivery team during aircraft handover

Your Profile
- Degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Interior Architecture, Textile Engineering, or a related field
- Significant professional experience in CMF and interior design, ideally within aviation or high-end interiors
- Strong expertise and excellent eye for esthetics in aviation interior design, materials, and technical requirements
- Proven experience in leading roles and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent sense for aesthetics, materials, color, and spatial concepts
- Strong understanding of certification requirements and aviation regulations (EASA/FAA)
- Experience in supplier management, material sourcing, and product development
- Confident in client presentations and stakeholder communication
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk tools, MS Office, ideally Teamcenter
- Fluent in English (German or French is a plus)
- Structured, proactive, and results-driven, with strong organizational skills
- Collaborative team player with high ownership and customer focus
- Passion for innovation, design trends, and sustainable materials
